The autumn and winter 2005, I worked in Plavinas in Latvia as commissioning manager for ALSTOM Power. Plavinas is an existing power plant with ten units and the task was to commission a new control system, excitation system, generator protection, AC and DC distribution panels for two units (G1 and G3).
The summer 2005 I worked with a survey and analysis of all trip circuits in the power station Bayano in Panamá. The main purpose was to improve the availability without interfering with the protection functions.
The spring 2005 I was sub-contracted by ALSTOM Power to take care of existing pending points in the power station Estí in Panamá.
